Does anyone know something about Jack Murphy (the kid from Peter Pan)?
I'm very confused about it. The site Moviekids.de says that he died 17 years ago, but imdb does not says anything about his death. The birth date coincides in both cases. So far it is the one and only case in wich i see discrepancy between these two sites. In general, i see that the information on imdb seems to be more accurate than the information on moviekids.net: for example, in the cases of Edna May Weick and Baby Lillian Wade, both sources show the dates of death, but imdb is more precise (showing the month of the death of Edna); in the case of Arthur Trimble, moviekids says "Born in 1917 Exact Date Unknown", while imbd shows an exact date of birth, and a place of birth too.
To add more to the confusion: i knew about Jack Murphy for the first time some 4 years ago, when i saw "Tumbleweeds" (with William Hart).
Being myself very fond of cinema, the first thing i did was to rush to imdb to see if someone who appeared in the movie was still alive. In imdb the date of birth of Jack Murphy was simply "1912", and no date of death, and the information that he was (or is) brother of Maurice Murphy. Seeing also that EVERYONE ELSE in the movie had already died (date of death for everyone, even the little baby that appears in the movie), i simply assumed the he was still alive, and thus, that he was one of the very few living treasure of the silent era. Of course, i was happy about it. Some time later i found that he was one of the principal characters in Peter Pan (John Darling, none the less), and i found too that almost everyone else in the movie had already died (that is, the date of death of almost everyone else in the movie). And i was, of course, very happy. The date of birth was still "1912".
Some years later (very recently, i believe), the DATE OF BIRTH was updated (6 march 1911, so he was or is older than i believed) but nothing about a date of death: still the information that he was brother of Maurice Murphy, and the date and place of birth and date and place of death of his brother Maurice, but still NOTHING about his death.
And some days ago, i found the site moviekids that says that he died 17 YEARS AGO. Of course, i was very disappointed, but many doubts started to grow in my mind, especially the discrepancy with imdb, and the fact that it is the only site that shows a date of death (there is some other site that uses the word "was" when refering to him, while uses the word "is" when refering to another kid that is, apparently, still alive (Terence MacMillan, that information coincides with imdb), but no date of death is shown on that site.
Overall, it's very difficult to find information about him (not only because of his obscurity as a silent era actor, but because is name it's just too common). In the site moviekids there is a very precise date and place of death, the only site so far that shows it... But why the imdb did not updated the date of death when his date and place of birth were so precisely updated? Overall, imdb has more accurate information than moviekids, and it shows the date of date of almost everyone else, even if they are as obscure and unknown as Jack Murphy. Besides, there is an article about Baby Marie Osborne that shows that she was rumored dead some years ago, but was later proven (recently) that she is alive and doing well, and that it was another Marie Osborne the one who had died (i believe). So it will not be the first time that a dead is confused with somenoe else.
Anyways, the date and place of death on moviekids is very precise, so it is likely true, but i still have some hope that it is a mistake.
Apologies for an article so long, my language is spanish, so apologies too if i had any mistakes ...
So, does anyone know something about him?

Baby Lillian Wade verstarb bereits 1990.
Edna May Weick verstarb bereits 1983 in New York...

Frank Coghlan Jr. verstorben...

Wie ich gerade erfahren habe verstarb Frank Coghlan Jr. letzten Monat. Frank Coghlan Jr. war einer der letzen lebenden Stummfilmstars, als Kind spielte er Junior Coghlan.
1992 erschien seine Autobiographie They Still Call Me Junior.
